Prosperity Party vows to build inclusive economy

Addis Ababa, December 31, 2019 (FBC) –Prosperity Party (PP) has vowed to work towards building an inclusive economy that could ensure fair and equal benefits among people.

This was revealed at a consultative forum held today between the Addis Ababa city administration and the business community on the current affairs of PP and other economic issues.

The discussion reviewed the gains made from the national comprehensive reform initiatives launched a year and 8 months ago.

Discussion on ‘what economic opportunities the Prosperity Party has come up with’ was held at the event that attracted officials, including Eng. Endawek Abite, head of the city’s trade and industry development bureau.

After the introduction of the reform initiative, repressive laws were revoked, tax holidays were granted and amendments were made on a number of tax laws to improve the tax system, it was noted.

During the event, participants raised problems taxpayers are facing to get services and expressed their concern over lack of peace, which is affecting businesses.
