Public rally staged in Nekemte town in support of ongoing national reforms

Addis Ababa, May 8, 2024 (FBC) – In a display of solidarity, a public rally advocating for ongoing national reforms held in Nekemte town, East Wollega zone of the Oromia region.

The event drew a significant crowd, with participants gathering at Wollega stadium to voice their support and celebrate the achievements made in various sectors over the past six years under the current government.

The public rally is being staged with the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Truneh, the chief administrator of Oromia region Mr. Shimels Abdisa, and various other federal and regional officials. The rally is also expected to serve as a platform to highlight the progress and successes attained through the reform initiatives.
