Addis Ababa, June 8, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian Ambassador to Turkiye, Adem Mohammed had a discussion with Turkish investors from various sectors and gave a briefing on the Trade and Investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
Consequently, the investors expressed their interest to invest in Ethiopia in construction, agriculture and energy sectors.
Futhermore, the Astana International Forum (AIF), a platform for dialogue addressing key global challenges, kicked off in Astana, Kazakhstan, under the theme Tackling Challenges through Dialogue: Towards Cooperation, Development and Progress.
Ethiopian Business Delegations led by Mulatu Teshome (PhD), Former President of Ethiopia, along with Ambassador Mulie Tarekegn, Deputy Head of mission of the Ethiopian Embassy in Turkiye, are participating in the forum.
At the margin of the forum, the Delegation had a productive discussion with AIF and Kazakhstan Investment Agency higher officials, the chair of Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhistan, Astana hub and selected investors.
