Appointees, officials to register assess ahead of new government

Addis Ababa, September 15, 2021 (FBC) – Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Ethiopia announced that new appointees and officials will register their ahead of the formation the new government in upcoming October.

Asset Registration Head at the Commission, Mesfin Belayneh indicated that more than 1.5 Million government appointees and senior officials have got their assets registed during the concluded budget year.

Registered assest of 705 officials have been authenticated by the commission as valid and accurate, Mesfin said.

He added that directives are put in place to enable new appointees and officials register their assests before the new government is established.
