Artist Hachalu Hundessa’s monument inaugurated in Ambo

Addis Ababa, October 25, 2020 (FBC) –A monument erected in memory of artist Hachalu Hundessa was inaugurated today in Ambo University, Oromia regional state.

Artist Hachalu was assassinated on June 29, 2020 in Addis Ababa at a place called Gelan condominium.

The inauguration of the monument was attended by his families, colleagues and invited guests.

Dr Tadesse Kenea, President of Ambo University, said the monument was erected to remember and honour his struggle for freedom.
