Brazil’s SENAI-CETIQT to support textile industry in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 28, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Brazil, Tafa Tulu, met with Mr. Sérgio Motta, Executive Director of the Chemical and Textile Industry Technology Center (SENAI-CETIQT) and visited the education and technology centers of the institute in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Discussions focused on the role of innovation and technology in the textile and apparel sector as well as the need to strengthen the network between manufacturers and technology institutes aiming at increasing the competitiveness of the Ethiopian products in the global market.

Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in innovation and technology in chemical and textile industries through trainings and experience sharing programs as well as exchange of researches, as per MFA Ethiopia.
