Courts discuss ways to give swift decision for election related complaints

Addis Ababa, January 16, 2020 FBC) –President of the Federal Supreme Court, Meaza Ashenafi, held today discussion with heads of the three courts in Ethiopia.

The discussion mainly focused on how to give swift, quality and fair decisions for election related complaints.

Ethiopia will hold general elections this year.

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia yesterday suggested the election to take place on August 16, 2020.

The Board also proposed August 16 and 17 as dates for the announcement of results of the elections.
