Education Ministry, Amhara State laid the cornerstone for reconstruction of schools damaged by TPLF in South Wollo

Addis Ababa, July 21, 2022 (FBC) – Education Minister Professor Berhanu Nega and President of the Amhara Regional State, Yilkal Kefale (PhD) have laid the cornerstone for the reconstruction of schools damaged due to TPLF invasion in Sourth Wollo Zone in the region.

It is disclosed on the conrnerstone laying ceremony that seven schools that have been vandalized by the terrorist TPLF forces in South Wollo will be reconstructed as per standards.

“Terrorist TPLF caused a wide-range of damage to us. The transgressions committed by the terrorist group are heartbreaking. But, we are working zealously to make up the loses we suffered,” Kefale said.

According to the Regional President, the Amhara State have undertaken various promising activities involving participation of the public and partners to restore damage institutions and infrastructures damaged by the terrorist group within a short period of time.

“We will defend ourselves from our enemies and rebuild and reconstruct our institutions at the same time,” Yilkal noted.
