ENDF Military tribunal Directorate offers training on prosecution against defectors

Addis Ababa, January 16, 2021 (FBC) – The Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF) Military Tribunals Directorate has offered training to its legal professionals on prosecution against military personnels who defected to the renegade TPLF clique committed treason against the nation.

Director of the Defence Force Military Tribunals, Colonel Demissie Kassa said the training has been offered to legal professionals drawn from all commands of the national army with a view to prosecute military personnels suspected over betrayal and subsequently charged with treachery acts.

Participants of the training said that they have acquired ample comprehension over new legal documents and directives to be employed during the trials of the suspects.

According to the ENDF Communications Office, the military tribunals will commence trials soon.
