Eritrean President holds talks with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

Addis Ababa, December 24, 2019 (FBC) -President Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea met yesterday with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zaid Al Nahyan.

The meeting focussed on assessing ongoing cooperation in developmental projects on various projects and especially on the energy and agricultural sectors, said Eritrea’s Minister of Information, Yemane Gebremeskel.

The two countries agreed on specific projects to further enhance cooperation on renewable energy and the agricultural sector, he said on Twitter.

The two sides also discussed the regional situation and prospects for cooperation in greater depth

The President also met with Sheikh Mensour Bin Zaid Al-Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs to discuss matters of bilateral cooperation and recent regional developments, Yemane added.
