ESLSE: About 400,000MT fertilizer unladed at Djibouti port in a month
Addis Ababa January 27, 2023 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE) confirmed that nearly 400,000 metric tons of fertilizer has reached the Djibouti port within 6 vessels in one month.
According to ESLSE, MV GREAT COMFORT, the 6th Vessel of fertilizer arrived in Djibouti on January 26th, carrying the first 50,000 metric tons of Urea fertilizer.
From the total amount of cargo that has arrived in Djibouti, 200,000 metric tons of Fertilizer has been transported and delivered to over a hundred destinations in Ethiopia, ESLSE added.
It is stated that this timely delivery will significantly boost crop yields during the farming season.
