Ethiopia briefs resident African ambassadors on current affairs

Addis Ababa, August 27, 2020 (FBC) – State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Redwan Hussein today briefed African Ambassadors resident in Addis Ababa on current affairs.

The briefing mainly focused on events surrounding the recent disturbances in Oromia regional state and measures taken by the government to restore law and order.

He also gave explanation on the status of the on-going negotiations between Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam GERD, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
