Ethiopia, Cote d’Ivoire discuss to consolidate ties through Continental Free Trade Area framework

Addis Ababa, November 3, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia and Cote d’Ivoire discussed to explore ways to further consolidate their bilateral relation through continental free trade area framework.

The FDRE President, Sahle-Work Zewde, held a conversation with her Ivorian counterpart, President Alassane Ouattara, in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.

During their meeting, the two sides acknowledged the excellent cooperation between Ethiopia and Cote d’Ivoire

They extensively discussed on ways to consolidate and strengthen relations, in particular through the African Continental Free Trade Area framework.

President Sahle-Work Zewde was taking part in African Investment Forum (AIF2022) in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivore that kicked off on November 2, 2022, as per MFA Ethiopia.
