Ethiopia, Japan discuss challenges and priorities of Education

Addis Ababa, January 11, 2023 (FBC) – The FDRE Minister of Education, Prof. Berhanu Nega holds discussion today with Japanese delegation led by members of the Japanese parliament.

The delegation consist two members of the Japanese parliament, Mr. Suzuki Norikazu & Ms. Suzuki Takako and representatives of Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and Education Cannot Wait (ECW).

Ito Takako, Ambassador of Japan to Ethiopia, also attended the discussion.

The discussion, according to the Embassy of Japan in Ethiopia, focused on challenges and priorities of education in Ethiopia.

They also advised on how Japan can cooperate with Ethiopia in the education sector.
