Ethiopia-Kenya-Tanzania TVET sector partnership agreement to be ratified

Addis Ababa, May 23, 2022 (FBC) – Labor and Skills Ministry announced readiness to endorse partnership agreement signed between Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania in the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) sector.

The Labor and Skills State Minister, Asegid Getachew stated that the agreement reached allows staff of the selected TVET institutions from the three countries to work in collaboration traveling from one state to the other with a view to foster the sector in the region.

The three countries are implementing the East African Skills for Transformation Project (EASTRIP), a five-year project funded by the World Bank to increase access and improve quality of TVET programs and support regional integration.
