Ethiopia partakes in 76th WHA in Geneva, Switzerland
Addis Ababa, May 22, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopian delegation led by Lia Tadesse Minister of Health is participating the Seventy-sixth World Health Assembly (WHA) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The 76th World Health Assembly is being held under the theme: WHO at 75: Saving lives, driving health for all.
During the 76th World Health Assembly, a series of strategic roundtables including the decision to improve international health coverage for integrated emergency, critical and operative care prepared by Ethiopia are expected to be approved.
WHA delegates, partner agencies, representatives of civil society and WHO experts will discuss current and future priorities for public health issues of global importance.
Prior to the assembly Walk “The Talk Health for All” street run was held with participation of legendary Athlete Commissioner Derartu Tulu and other renowned personalities.
