Ethiopia participating in WCO Enforcement Committee 43rd meeting

Addis Ababa, March 29, 2023 (FBC) –  Ethiopia is participating in the 43rd meeting of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Enforcement Committee.

The meeting is taking place at WCO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, thus also marking the 40th anniversary of the Enforcement Committee which was established in 1983.

Mulugeta Beyene, Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Customs Commission has represented Ethiopia in the meeting which is set to explore ways to tackle informer cross-border trade and contraband.
