Ethiopia receives donation of 100,000 testing kits

Addis Ababa, August 9, 2020 (FBC) –Ethiopia today received a donation of 100,000 diagnostic testing kits for COVID-19.

In a twitter post, Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed thanked partners for the donation.

“As we ramp up COVID19 testing this month, we’re grateful to partners supporting us in the efforts,” he said.

The total number of confirmed COVID19 cases in the country has now reached 22, 253, with 390 deaths and 9, 707 recoveries.
