Ethiopia repatriates 1,355 nationals from Saudi Arabia

Addis Ababa, April 11, 2022 (FBC) – Ethiopia has repatriated 1,355 citizens from Saudi Arabia where they were suffering hostile condition.

Out of the total number of people repatriated, 350 are children while the remaining 1,005 are women, according to Women and Social Affairs Ministry.

The returnees have been admitted to makeshift facilities arranged in Addis Ababa, the Ministry said, adding that efforts are underway to reinstate them in sustainable manner.

Ethiopia is returning its citizens home from Saudi Arabia as per the plan it set to repatriate hundreds of thousands of undocumented nationals in the country.
