Ethiopia to devise a directive to alleviate hassles on media professionals

Addis Ababa, April 16, 2022 (FBC) – Government Communications Service announced that the government is preparing to devising a directive that would help alleviate hassles that media professionals are facing while gathering and then disseminating information to the public.

In an exclusive interview with FBC, State Minister of the Government Communications Service, Selamawit Kassa underlined that the government is committed to investigative journalism and access to information despite some inherited challenges.

The directive will also create conducive relationship and communication between the media and information providers including public relation professionals, the State Minister added.
