Ethiopia, Türkiye discuss upcoming technical negotiations on implementation of Ankara Declaration

Addis Ababa, February 6, 2025 (FMC) — Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, welcomed a high-level delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Burhanettin Duran.

The two sides exchanged views on the upcoming technical negotiations on the implementation of the Ankara Declaration.

On the occasion, Gedion took the opportunity to thank the Republic of Türkiye for the facilitation of the Ankara Declaration with the Federal Republic of Somalia, and expressed Ethiopia’s commitment to the full implementation of the Declaration.
