Ethiopian delegation discusses with IMF chief

Addis Ababa, April 17, 2023 (FBC) – The Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide and Governor of National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE), Mamo Mihretu and all delegation of Ethiopia met with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Direcror Kristalina Georgieva, and IMF team in Washington, D.C.

It is noted that the two sides concluded a week long discussions with various officials at IMF and World Bank Group.

Negotiation with the two multilateral institutions, IMF and the World Bank, advanced well to unlock the needed development and humanitarian financial assistances to Ethiopia
