Ethiopian envoy, EU Special Representative exchange views on issues of common interest

Addis Ababa, July 22, 2021 (FBC) –Ambassador of Ethiopia to the European Union (EU), Hirut Zemene today conferred with Annette Weber, EU Special Representative for the Horn of Africa.

Ambassador Hirut has welcomed the new EU Special Representative for the Horn of Africa at the Embassy’s Chancery and expressed readiness to work with Dr Annette Weber.

The two exchanged views on the current situation in Ethiopia and regional issues of common interest.

Furthermore, they shared views regarding the recent visit of Weber to Ethiopia.

The two sides have agreed to continue exchanges on mutual issues of common concern, according to Ethiopian Mission in EU.
