Ethiopia’s Benshanugl Gumuz Region, Blue Nile State of Sudan sign cooperation agreement

Addis Ababa, December 30, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Benshanugl Gumuz Region and Blue Nile State of Sudan have signed cooperation agreement to work jointly in cross-border development and security areas.

The agreement focuses on social, economic, peace, development and people to people relations areas.

The consultative meeting that held for three consecutive days as of Tuesday between the two neighboring regions of Ethiopia and Sudan has concluded today with signing of cooperation agreement.

President of Benshanugl Gumuz of Ethiopia, Ashadli Hassen and President of Blue Nile State of Sudan General Ahmed Al-Umda have signed the agreement on behalf of their respective regions.
