Ethiopia’s COVID 19 cases rise to 43

Addis Ababa, April 5, 2020 (FBC) -Five more people have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID19) over the past 24 hours, said the Ministry of Health.

This brings the total number of COVID19 cases to 43 in the country.

The confirmed cases are out of the 59 samples tested over the past 24 hours.

Three of the cases are Ethiopians. The other two are Eritrean and Libyan nationals,  the Ministry indicated.

According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, more than 1.2 million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally.

More than 65,000 people have died and more than 252,000 have recovered, according to the university’s figures.
