Fana Broadcasting Corporate Leadership, Staff plant trees

Addis Ababa, August 4, 2020 (FBC) – Leaders and Staff members of Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) have planted trees in response to the Green Legacy Initiative underway in all parts of the country this summer season.

CEO of FBC , Bekele Muleta said the participation of journalists and leaders of the media in planting hundreds of tree seedlings is aimed to contribute to successfulness of the reforestation campaign being across the nation.

The CEO recalled that Fana Broadcasting Corporate made same contribution to the planting campaign in a bid to restore lost natural resources of the country.

Bekele called for further nurturing and protection to the tree seedlings planted so as to transcend green and fertile country to coming generation.

The CEO disclosed that FBC has established a special task force mandated to care for and look after the trees planted by the staff of the media house.

More than half of the trees planted by Fana Broadcasting Coroporate last year have survived, Bekele added.
