Fana Broadcasting Corporate turns 25 today
Addis Ababa, November 21, 2020 (FBC) –Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC) has celebrated its 25th anniversary in a ceremony held today at Kuriftu Resort, Bishoftu town.
The event was attended by Executive Board members of FBC, Nigusu Tilahun and Degife Bula, FBC CEO Admasu Damtew and his deputy Setegn Engidaw as well as employees and partners of the broadcaster.
In their remarks at the event, Nigusu and Admasu called on employees at FBC to work hard to take the broadcaster to a better position than its current status.
During the past 25 years, FBC reached worldwide audiences through its 12 FM radio stations. Its global reach also increased with the addition of TV programs in four languages.
On its web page, FBC has also news in Amharic, Afan Oromo, Tigrigna, Afarigna, Somali, English and Arabic languages.
