First Lady Office inaugurates a mega bakery and flour factory in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, October 16, 2021 (FBC) – The Office of the First Lady has inaugurated a mega bakery and flour factory in Addis Ababa in attendance of high level officials and public representatives.

The factory built at a cost of 217 Million Birr is said to have a capacity of producing 1 million loaves of bread and 72 tons of flour on daily basis thereby addressing the growing demand in the capital.

Office is planned to build similar factories with a capacity of producing 300,000 loaves of bread daily in ten regional towns and cities across the nation.

First Lady Zinash Tayachew handed over the keys of the factory to Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie in an official ceremony.
