FM Gedu confers with Korean Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister

Addis Ababa, October 19, 2020 (FBC) – Foreign Affairs Minister Gedu Andargachew has discussed with Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Ham Sang-Wook on various issues.

On the discussion, Gedu said Ethiopia and Korea have strong ties in multifaceted areas pledging commitment to further strengthen the relationship to a higher level in areas cooperation like people to people and capacity building.

The foreing minister also expressed gatituted for the republic of Korea for its support to Ethiopia in the fight against the pandemic.

The Korean Deputy Minister also has given to Gedu a message sent to him from his Korean counterpart Kang Kyung-Wha.

Korea is always grateful to the Ethiopian war veterans who paid sacrifices for its independence and sovereignty, said the Korean Deputy Minister.
