Government launches new web portal to enable Ethiopians easily contribute to GERD

Addis Ababa, July 24, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Electric Power launches a web portal under the address http://mygerd.com to enable Ethiopians all over the world to easily contribute to the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

The web portal is said instrumental in mobilizing funds with digital method and disseminate information regarding the progress of dam to Ethiopians in different parts of the world at a time.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, the web portal will contribute to enhance public participation in speeding up nation’s path to prosperity.
