Hangzhou based Chinese company expresses interest to invest in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, March 10, 2022 (FBC) – Deputy Head of Mission Ambassador Dawano Kedir met and held talks with a Chinese company based in Hangzhou that has expressed great interest to engage in investment and trade in Ethiopia.

During the discussion Ambassador Dawano thanked the company for its interest to do business in Ethiopia and explained the favorable investment policies and opportunities and encouraged the company to invest in Ethiopia.

The largest volume of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ethiopia comes from China, followed by Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
