High-level Ethiopian delegation arrives in Dubai to attend World Government Summit

Addis Ababa, February 10, 2025 (FMC) — A high-level Ethiopian government delegation led by Mr. Adem Farah, Head of the Coordination Center for Democracy Building with the Rank of Deputy Prime Minister, arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, today to participate in the World Government Summit.

The delegation was welcomed at Dubai International Airport by senior UAE officials, the Ambassador of Ethiopia to UAE Omar Hussein, and diplomats.

The Ethiopian delegation is expected to participate in high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings, panel discussions and interactive sessions at the summit, which will be held from February 11-13, 2025, under the theme “Shaping Future Governments”.

The summit focuses on a wide range of areas, including digital transformation, effective policymaking, citizen participation, sustainable development, water and irrigation use, and public service delivery.
