House discusses 10-year health plan

Addis Ababa, January 16, 2921 (FBC) – The Ministry of Health today held discussion with members of the Standing Committee of the House of People’s Representative (HPR).

The discussion focused on the health sector’s 10 year plan and 5 years Transformation Plan, according to Dr Lia Tadesse, Minister of Health.

During the discussion, main goals, targets and strategic directions of the plan were presented, she said.

Participants discussed on key priorities, multisectoral coordination and resources needed to achieve the goals, the Minister indicated.

Members of the House reaffirmed thier commitment to support the execution of the plan, she added.

Dr Lia added that key inputs were gathered from them to enrich the plan and improve the health of the community.
