Indian companies donate medicines to war-affected health facilities in Amhara, Afar Regions

Addis Ababa, May 30, 2022 (FBC) – Indian pharmaceutical companies namely MEDICAMEN Biotech Limited and Medopharm Private Limited Company have donated medicines to health facilities affected by war in Amhara and Afar Regions.

The donation include drugs including Ferrous Sulfate, Folic Acid tablets and Neotrim, M-Clox 125 DS as well as other related items worth approximately 40 thousand USD.

The medicines are said crucial to address the urgent medical needs in hospitals and health centers affected by war in Amhara and Afar regional states of Ethiopia.

Ethiopian Airlines Cargo flight loaded with the donated medical supplies donated by the Indian companies will arrive in Addis Ababa on Wednesday, according to Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi.
