IWBF welcomes Ethiopian Wheelchair Basketball Association

Addis Ababa, January 13, 2021 (FBC) – Ethiopian Wheelchair Basketball Association has become member of the International Wheelchair Basket Federation (IWBF).

Ethiopian Sport Commission disclosed that the association has been approved by the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation as the Affiliated National Organization of Wheelchair Basketball for Ethiopia.

The membership would help persons with disabilities in the country’s sports community participate in continental and international games, it is stated.

Ethiopian Wheelchair Basketball Association has become the eleventh member of the IWBF Africa Zone.
