Members of Diaspora community in France donate in-kind support to IDPs in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, May 24, 2022 ( FBC) – Ethiopians and people of Ethiopian origins residing in the southern part of France provided in-kind support to internally displaced citizens and Kombolcha General Hospital, damaged by the conflict in the northern part of the country. 

The in kind support, made under a theme “Eid to Eid for citizens in need”, included donations of foods, drugs and clothing to 1000 internally displaced people currently relocated to the camp in the town of Debre birhan. 

In addition, a variety of drugs and medical equipment costing about 6000 euros are granted to Kombolcha General Hospital, highly damaged by the conflict, through the representative of the community members, Mr. Faris Ali.

The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Paris expresses its gratitude to Ethiopian diaspora Community members residing in southern France for this great initiative.
