Ministerial Committee assesses ongoing emergency response in northern Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, January 17, 2021 (FBC) -The National Emergency Coordination Center (ECC), a multi-sectoral emergency response Ministerial Committee, held its meeting yesterday.

Chaired by Muferihat Kamil, Minister of Peace, it assessed performance of the ongoing emergency response and rehabilitation processes in the northern parts of the country

During the meeting, the Committee put forward directions after identifying urgent needs, according to the Ministry of peace.

The Ministerial Committee meets every two days to monitor the activities of the emergency centers set up at different sites in the northern part of the country.
