Ministry announces National Agriculture Conference in December

Addis Ababa, November 11, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture announced a National Agriculture Conference to be held in December, in Addis Ababa.

The Conference is expected to serve as a crucial forum to shed light on recent agricultural reforms and the path forward in the context of a renewed sense of commitment toward agriculture, the Ministry said.

Agriculture has been the foundation of Ethiopian economy for a long time. The Conference will be held under the theme ‘Shaping Agriculture for greater impact’.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture together, the Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) and the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR).
