MoIL hands over 600 water pumps to Amhara region

Addis Ababa, November 30, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Ministry of Irrigation and Lowlands has donated 600 water pumps to the Amhara region.

According to the Ministry, the support was handed over at the end of the bilateral discussion held today regarding the implementation of irrigation projects in the region.

The Minister of Irrigation and Lowlands, Aisha Mohammed, handed over the water pumps to the chief administrator of the Amhara region, Yelkal Kefale.

Yilkal Kefale, for his part, thanked the Minister for the support and assured that the water pumps will be distributed fairly and will be used for their intended purpose.
