National peace conference opens in Addis Ababa
Addis Ababa, December 20, 2019 (FBC) – A national peace conference kicked off in Addis Ababa at the millennium hall today.
Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed attended the event held under the theme “Let’s Build an Ethiopia conducive for all.”
The conference was organized by joint committee of investors from Amhara and Oromia regional states.
Government officials, business persons, religious and traditional leaders, Aba Gadas, representatives of higher education institutions and youth are attending the conference.
The conference is expected to deliberate on topics related to peace.
