NEBE unveils new logo at stakeholders conference

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2020 (FBC) – The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has unveiled a new logo.

The new logo was launched at a multi-stakeholders conference organized today by the board.

In her opening remarks, NEBE Chairperson, Birtukan Mideksa, said the electoral board is undergoing extensive reforms.

The on-going reforms are intended to make the institution independent and credible, she said.

The on-going institutional reform would also help to conduct a successful national election, which is scheduled to take place in August 2020.

The conference was organized to gather inputs for the on-going institutional reform and enable all stakeholders contribute their share for the success of the election.

The revised date for the elections is expected to be announced at the meeting.
