Oromia, Amhara political parties meet in Adama

Addis Ababa, October 30, 2020 (FBC) –Political parties operating in Amhara and Oromia regional states have met in the city of Adama, Oromia regional state.

The two-day consultative meeting which focused on the process of democracy building and fostering the culture of dialogue attracted heads and representatives of political parties.

The event will see presentation of research papers on different topics, among others, on building democratic institutions, democratic political culture, and fostering people-to-people relations.

Religious leaders, Aba Gadas, elders, representatives of civil society organizations (CSOs) and intellectuals are in attendance of the meeting.
