Peace Minister holds talks with WFP Special Envoy

Addis Ababa, September 9, 2021 (FBC) – Minister of Peace, Muferihat Kamil held talks with Ramiro Lopdes da Silva, Special Envoy to the Executive Director of WFP.

The two discussed on recent procedural review and amendments made to humanitarian cargo movement.

The envoy appreciated the improvements, according to the Ministry.

They also discussed the need to expand and accelerate the delivery of humanitarian assistance in the Amhara and Afar regions.

They further reviewed current challenges and discussed potential solutions.
