PM Abiy awards high achieving students, high schools

Addis Ababa, February 28, 2023 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed awarded today high achieving students and high performing high schools that recently scored top results in the 12th grade national exams.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed handed awards to students who registered the highest score from the previous grade 12th exit national exam.

It is known that close to 29,000 students managed to score university entrance points in the previous academic year.

“Hard work is rewarding. Congratulations to the top scorers in the 12th grade national exams that we awarded today. Your discipline and hard work must continue onwards into your tertiary education and towards becoming the generation that keeps transforming Ethiopia”, PM Abiy said during the award ceremony.
