PM Abiy commends the diversified, rich natural resource in Gofa Zone

Addis Ababa, November 2, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed praised the untapped, rich and diversified natural resource potential in Gofa Zone after visiting the area on Wednesday.

Prime Minister and his delegation was welcomed by a vast crowd of residents in Sawla town and its surroundings on Wednesday morning.

According to the Premier, Gofa zone is one of several locations that demonstrate how Ethiopia is endowed with a range of natural resources.

“It has vast potential that could readily overflow to help the entire region develop. The diversity of Mount Weyila is yet another representation of our country”, he wrote on Twitter.

“Farmers in Docha Dembela kebele have grown sesame, masho, soybeans, teff, and fruits on 80 hectares, showing how nature has blessed the region”, said PM Abiy.
