Police College graduates 259 youths to preserve peace, security in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, September 14, 2021 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Police University College has graduated 259 youths to preserve peace and security in the capital, Addis Ababa.

Most of the graduate peacekeepers are volunteers while 32 of them were police members and others from martial arts and other sports field.

It is stated on the graduation ceremony that the youths will have indispensible role in maintaining peace and security and fostering wellbeing of residents in the capital.

City is recruiting more than 27,500 youths for similar training in the near future, it is indicated on the graduation ceremony attended by senior government officials including Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie.
