President of Comoros & the current AU chair arrives in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, March 30, 2023 (FBC) – The President of the Union of the Comoros and Chair of the African Union, Azali Assoumani, arrived in Addis Ababa for a working visit to Ethiopia and the African Union Commission.

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, he was warmly welcomed by Ambassador Mesganu Arga, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

It is to recalled that President Azali Assoumni took the chaipersonship of AU from Senegal president Macky Sall in the 36th AU leaders summit in February 2023.
