President of Somalia lauds Ethiopia’s contribution to peace, stability in his country
Addis Ababa, March 14, 2023 (FBC) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud praised Ethiopia for its contribution to his country’s peace and stability.
Muktar Mohamed Ware, Ethiopia’s new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Somalia, presented his letter of credentials to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at Villa Somalia.
During the discussion with the Ethiopian ambassador, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud appreciated Ethiopia’s contribution to Somalia’s peace and stability, adding that cooperation between the two brotherly peoples in areas other than peace and stability is growing steadily.
For his part, Ambassador Muktar Mohamed Ware remarked that Somalia and Ethiopia share various values and that the experience of cooperation in other domains, aside from the two countries’ cooperation in the realm of peace and security, should evolve in other sectors as well.
