President Sahle-Work delivers food items to members of Muslim Community on Eid al-Fitr eve

Addis Ababa, April 30, 2022 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has delivered food items to low income members of the Muslim Community in Addis Ababa over the Eid al-Fitr festival to be celebrated worldwide on Monday.

The meals extended by the President have been distributed to low income members of the Muslim Community in Addis Ababa particularly in Kirkos Sub-City.

President of the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council, Grand Mufti Haji Omar Idris has attended the Eid al-Fitr meal sharing event.

On the occasion, the President said the event is held in honor of the peaceful co-existence and culture of mutual support between Christians and Ethiopians, calling the public to preserve such an archetypal identity among the people of the country.
