President Sahle-Work sends Ethiopian athletics team off to Tokyo Paralympic Game

Addis Ababa, August 18, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde has sent the Ethiopian athletics team off to the Tokyo Paralympics.

Living with physical disability will not prevent people from achieving their dreams as far as they work hard for success, the President said on the farewell ceremony.

The president expressed her best wishes to the Ethiopian Paralympians as they are leaving for Tokyo next Saturday.

The athletes, to themselves, called on the government to give due attention for the Paralympic sport, adding that their participation in the Olympic game will contribute its share in motivating others in similar physical conditions across the country.
